We often get in some situations when we take decisions without a second thought and this is the right moment to find which kind of person we are, as this decision comes out not from any pressure or any other reason but it simply comes out from what we exactly are. Symbol Test
This is a simple test that quickly determines what type of person one is dealing with. You have the person look briefly at these 5 figures and ask her to choose the one she likes best and the one she likes the second best. Don't allow any intellectualization about it, we just need a quick and simple choice. Then afterwards we can analyze what that means.


A Square is somebody who feels most comfortable with a stable environment and clear directions on what to do. She is conservative and likes things that are regular and orderly. If given a task she will work on it until it is finished, even if it is repetitious, cumbersome and lonely.
A Rectangle also likes structure and regularity. But she will more establish it with organization, meetings, committees and so forth. This will have to be done the proper way, taking all rules and regulations into consideration. If given a task she will start organizing it to be sure it can be done the most systematic way.
A Triangle is goal oriented. She enjoys planning something out and then doing it. She gets motivated by the accomplishment. She will tend to look at big long-term issues, but might forget the details. When given a task she will set a goal and work on a plan for it.
A Circle is social and communicative. No hard edges. She handles things by talking about them and smoothing things out with everybody. Communication is the first priority, and making sure there is harmony. When given a task she will talk about it.
A Squiggle is off-the-wall and creative. She feels best doing new and different things most of the time and gets bored with regularity. When given a task she will come up with bright ideas about it.

The Square, Rectangle and Triangle are all convergent. They are working towards something specific and finite, and they do it in a logical and systematic way. But they might be lacking in personal creativity.
The Circle and Squiggle are divergent. They are creative, extroverted, and intuitive. They will reach out around them into new areas and to other people. But they aren't particularly systematic or dependable.
This kind of categorization is very useful for evaluating people for job positions, for example, or for finding out how well people will work together. If you really need something specific done, the Square is the most likely to do it exactly as specified. Squares will work great in the accounting department. If things need to be organized amongst a group of people, then the Rectangle is most likely to make that happen. A Triangle might be a good executive, setting goals and making sure they are met. For any kind of personal relations the Circle will be good. A Circle will be a good personnel person or a receptionist or customer service. If anything new is needed a Squiggle is the person for the job. Advertising, problem solving etc.
The different categories of people might often get in conflicts with each other if they don't realize that they each work differently. The convergent people might be really frustrated that the divergent ones don't seem to be able to get done what they are supposed to, but will do all kinds of other things and not care about deadlines. The divergent people might find the convergent ones cold and narrow minded, not taking human factors and new possibilities into consideration.
Now, for processing purposes these categorizations are also useful. It can tell us a person's preferred method of working with something.
A Square will need fairly specific instructions. She will not be happy just floating around, not knowing where this is going. A Square will feel good about being presented with a technique and carrying it through until it is done. It doesn't matter much if it is repetitious, regularity is a source of comfort. For a Square it is a good idea to have more of a formal routine, certain rituals that are repeated.
A Rectangle needs to see how things are organized. A systematic overview of the processing we will do would be a good idea. And the Rectangle will probably also enjoy understanding the principles of what we are doing. She will feel comfortable knowing and noticing that systematic techniques are being used and that they have names and so forth.
A Triangle needs to see a goal and needs to see some accomplishments. She might appreciate having a chart of steps we are following. She will take great pleasure in checking off each one that gets done. It should always be clear what the underlying intention is with what we do. If the direction is agreed upon, the Triangle can be quite flexible in how we get there.
A Circle doesn't need a plan or a system and is probably turned off by it. She needs to talk about whatever is at hand. You need to be flexible in tracking with her and dealing with whatever is going on. Getting to an overall harmonious situation is more important than getting techniques done right.
A Squiggle must be presented with new and different things. Unexpected angles is what will motivate her. It is perfectly fine if no kind of technique is recognized and every session is different. Be flexible enough to jump around a bit and avoid preconceived ideas about where we will end up.
People are different. If you aren't able to adjust to different personality types you will probably mainly attract the ones that are similar to yourself, and others just won't appreciate what you do. If you do recognize the different types of people and if you approximate their reality then there is no limit to who you can deal with successfully.
If it isn't apparent already, there is no value judgment connected with which category people fall in. None of them are better than the other ones. Each one is a somewhat fragmented package. It has qualities that are good for certain purposes and it has qualities that aren't so good for other purposes.
The best way of testing these is probably to ask the person to pick the figure she likes the most and then the figure she likes the second most. That gives a more composite picture. Then the qualities might blend or balance each other somewhat.

Okay here's my last journal entry in my Depressed Journal

You'll see why I love anime and manga so much too

Hello. I haven't written in awhile and, well, I can tell you there wont be too much more depressing entries in here. You see, reading manga has completely changed my life. The characters are all so kind and fight so hard. They never give up and they generally recognize peoples feelings and always help. My outlook on life before was dreading the next day each day and now I try to live life to it's fullest and make people around me happy. I try hard to make everyone happy and to accomplish my goals. i can say one thing though....

IT AIN'T EASY!!!!

It's so hard to break my bad selfish habits. But this is my goal and reminder of my life.

it's been hard with the third one but ive been progressing. I have trouble with all of them but believing is probably the easiest.

After all that things have been going so well for me. I recognize, know,and think about my strength and weaknesses. I'm fed sweets at lunch from my friends, i think my grades are improving, ive been getting compliments from my teachers and...I found out someone in my class likes me!!

Ooh! I'm bursting with happiness! I think i'm glowing!! I could be used as a lighthouse! Hee hee!!

I think someone heard me and granted me a small treasure. Just knowing someone likes me is enough. I believe, somewhere, out there, someone is watching over me.

I just found an old journal

I didnt put dates but heres one

In the notebook me and my friends write in I told them that only one day i was depressed. I wonder what reaction that will cause. Will they be able to see through my happy facade? I hope not. I dont want them to worry. I have the best disguise on that sometimes i fool even myself. But behind my seemingly cheerful eyes lies sadness pain and loneliness. Only my true love will be able to see my suffering.

I have another one that's a little longer...

Lately, I have been feeling very depressed and into dark things. I wonder if its just a phase or maybe im turning "Goth". I'm not even sure what that means. Maybe I'm just getting in touch with my dark side. That could strengthen me. i hope it wont smother me. I could just be going through depression where its forcing me to realize that there is no such thing as magic in this world. But i believe with all my heart that there must be more than this grey existence called life. Maybe I think that death is the only thing that will grant me eternal bliss. The darkness begins to wear down on my weary soul and perhaps that will be the end of me.....suicide.

Oh God I hope not! Suicide is for the desperate and I will...I must have the strength to carry on and prove to the world there is MAGIC!! I shall keep my eyes open, pay attention to dreams, and not think of explanations for wierd happenings. Even if it scares me, even if the only kind of magic is dark, EVEN if it hurts....i will do anything to have my hopes fulfilled and beautiful dreams come true.

Clothes!!

I love clothes!!

I never really did before but now I can almost be classified as a shop-a-holic!

I know that the guys out there and even some girls might think this is boring and i don't blame you I used to be one of you.

But this topic of clothes is going to go somewhere serious.

It's called.....

Hot Topic vs. Abercrombie

I know most of you are probably going "EEWWWW!" to at least one of them.

Personally I like Hot Topic a lot better than Abercrombie.

But I like some of the stuff they have in Abercrombie too.

It's just I feel like no matter what brand of clothing you have on youre gonna get glared down by some of your friends.

It's not the most comforting feeling in the world but I'm okay with it.

I'll use today and yesterday as an example.

Yesterday me, my mom, and my sister all went to the mall to shop for stuff of course. Most of it were things we needed and not wants.

But we still did some selfish shopping.

Hey, it's good to indulge once in awhile.

But anyways back on topic....

I had had my eye on a sweater at Abercrombie for awhile but was reluctant to get it because of friends and price.

But yesterday i finally gave in and bought it.

It's so soft!! And a pretty dark blue and with sleeves that actually cover my hands!!

(For those of you who dont know I have freakishly long arms and legs...)

It's nothing too preppy although i do like some preppy stuff.

But I wore it today at school and the first reaction I get from a friend is a death glare that i swear was going to melt the skin off my face.

But i was already kinda expecting that reaction from her so i just let her be and left her to glare at me.

But then I started getting comments like how could you and that's when it started to touch a nerve. I mean, i know they were just kinda kidding but there was still a hint if hostility in their voice.

I always pride myself in my tough skin and being able to handle blunt things but when it comes to clothing i get a little.......touchy.

I mean whats so freaking bad about different brands and styles of clothing????

I like whatever i like!

It just depends on my mood.

If I feel like wearing Abercrombie I'll wear Abercrombie godammit!

What's so freaking hard to understand??!!

It's just clothes with different names printed on it and different fabric and patterns.

I mean you can buy something at Hot Topic and make it look like you got it at Abercrombie, American Eagle, Hollister etc!!

Same with Abercrombie!

I can see tons of different ways to put outfits together there that could look like punk or goth or whatever!

It just depends on who's wearing it and the attitude they have.

The only difference is the price on the tag on the name on the clothing.

Hey Everyone!!

I'm tired again but thank god it's Friday!!!

School just wipes me out!

*yawn*

Anyways I'm supposed to be talking about what I believe in...

I was baptized a christian but went to a Lutheran church until I was 9. I never really liked going to church except for friends and food....almost like school. So I think even then I didn't believe in God. But then, just recently, since 8th grade, my dad has started this whole 'Oh God is my savior' thing and he's been trying to almost force God on my younger sister and I. That's what finally made me think,

"Do I even believe in God???"

Seriously! I'm not sure if I'm just in my rebellious age or not but my dad has really been getting on my nerves lately!

(****Warning: I'm going to start venting. I sometimes get really whiny when I vent or complain a lot and sound ungrateful but it feels great to get things off your chest once in awhile...)

I mean every time I try to bring something up like faeries or something he shoots it down and says its not real. But then he adds 'Unicorns are real because God made them'

Ugh!!

That makes me so mad!!

What is with this God anyway???!!

If he's so praised then why are so many people suffering down here while he's sitting up in cozy old 'heaven' ???!!

And why is he a he!!??

Huh?!!

Why is that!!??

Because this religion was made in the time when men thought they were superior to women!!

And he has such a big ego!!

My dad was talking about how god said that you could only believe in him and no other gods and if you did believe in other gods it was a sin.

My god!!

why is Christianity so hot and other the other religions unreal??!!

Why cant we believe in whatever the hell we want to huh???

Okay now that's off my chest I can talk about what I do believe in.

I believe in magic.

Go ahead laugh at me.

I don't care.

It's what I believe in and I'll stand by it.

I'm open to must religions as long as there not big superficial things!

The kind of magic I'm talking about is stuff like elves and faeries and dwarfs and dragons and spells and witches and true love and curses and other worlds and secret doors to different places and things happening right under our nose that we dismiss as everyday events and really they are extraordinary chances that we, being ignorant humans, miss...etc...

Things like that.

That's why I'm always off in another world daydreaming of beautiful things.

That's why i love reading and writing.

But then someone says,

"Ya know they're not real right? It's all fakes and illusions."

And I just shrug it off and pig-headedly stand by it but I don't like arguing these kind of things much...

I don't believe in Santa the Easter Bunny or stuff like that but...you know what I believe in...

I've gotta go to bed now....maybe....I think i may fiddle around on the Internet some more even though it's late and my eyes are drooping...

I just don't want to go to bed yet....

Smells

Hey Everyone!!
I'm at my home away from home!!
The library!!
You know how everyone has smells that they like and theres always that one strange one???
Well for me that would be the smell of books which is basically the smell in the library.
I love the smell of old books that the spine is only half there and the smell of the shiny new hardcovers with the super bright plastic cover over the...cover
i love all of those smells the mustiness of old books and the sharp smell of fresh ink and paper newly bound in book glue!
Anyways I have to go now so I'll post later.

Hi everyone.

As the title says I am tired...

Today was the first day back to school from break and those are worst than any monday in my book.

I usually dont hate school actually i kind of enjoy it but today....

It was just REALLY ticking me off!!!

*Sigh...*

Anyways...

My christmas was really great!

What made it one of the best was that my cousins were here!

My cousins, who I love to pieces, had moved to North Carolina about 2 years ago and I haven't really seen or talked to them in any form since then.

My aunt and uncle have a bad habit of shutting themselves off from the rest of the family...unless they need something...like money....

Anyways I have 3 guy cousins two younger than me,13 about, and one older than me, 16. They are so much fun to hang around with and they do the stupidest stuff too!!

Man I really missed them a lot.

It was one of those things where you know you miss them but when they come to visit you realize how much you missed them.

And I believe its doubly sad one they leave again.

But I can't complain much(Even though I do...but I try really hard not to!!) because I know I am one of the luckiest kids alive.

I realize this but I still have the bad habit of complaining once someone pionts it out or starts it first. Ive been trying really hard to break it but...its hard!

Boy! Look at me! Im not even talking about being tired anymore!

Man do I really ramble on!

*laughs*
